Up To You

There's this voice that's stuck in my head,
It's telling me to go on ahead,
And reach for you. Yeah, that's just what I want to do.

But listen here, I know how you feel.
Believe my tears, I swear they're real.
And they call for you, I wish that this were true.

That liking you would, free all my pain.
And knowing you, would make me believe,
In a chance with you. Oh, do I wish that this were real.

And could it be, that you hate how I laugh?
Or maybe you just missed all the smiles that I made for you.
Yeah, I formed one just for you.

If you're tired I'll cuddle with you
Preserve your smile and your happiness too
It's all I wanted for you, just hold me in exchange, as I hold you.

The way you laugh, and the way you can move.
It's got me thinking and a little confused.
What to do with you. I just want to be with you

Please forgive me if I'm moving too fast,
Just trust your heart and know it'll last.
If you choose it too, I'll stand by and wait for you.

I know you're patient and so am I too.
But what's this feeling between me and you,
That seems to grow overnight, I hope that you feel it too.

Rest your head up upon the bed,
Close your eyes and scan what I said.
Do you see or trust a word that I say,
It's there for you and in big red letters too.

I love your smile and your laziness too.
You're so perfect so how could I choose,
Between a boy and you, did you know I'm perfect too?

You know I'm kidding, but believe I'm confused.
I'm not perfect but a good friend with you.
Or is it more than that? I'm hoping' that it's true.

If it's not and you hate what I've said,
Just take these words and free your head.
Of all my feelings for you, I'll still be friends with you.

You've heard my story so what'll you do?
The choice is yours to make up and choose
Whoever's best for you, and this time it's up to you.
